Art as a Protest: A Vivienne Westwood-Inspired Workshop

We have the opportunity to take part in a unique workshop at the Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle at 10.30am – 14.30pm on Wednesday 22 April.

The Art as Protest is an energising, creative workshop inspired by the fearless spirit of Vivienne Westwood. Explore pieces from her collection, uncover how she used fashion to speak truth to power, and learn how you can use creativity to make your voice heard.

Expect a deep dive into Westwood’s iconic protest pieces. There will be hands-on creative activities, discussions around activism, identity, and expression, a collaborative design challenge co-creating a large protest banner for the museum’s Create Space which will proudly showcase your ideas and voices.

Places are limited, so to book your place call on 0191 386 3856 or email info@ageukcountydurham.org.uk.
